I am Larissa Collingwood. I am in my early twenties, going about my business as a Registered Nurse. This blog isn’t about my day/night job though, it’s about all of the crazy adventures, misgivings, learnings and experiences I have had and will continue to have as a female rugby referee. All of this is in the hopes that at least one of you out there will think about picking up the whistle, not hanging your boots up and giving refereeing a go. There is more than one way to be a part of rugby, and as a referee we get front row tickets to the game NZ and the world have fallen in love with.

Peace out,
